  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #18  ($73,884.64).
  4. Selectmen will be ordering “truck entering” signs to be put up on the Tower Road near Troy Beans new garage. This is a safety issue with the garage being at the bottom of the steep hill and Troy has requested these signs for everyone’s safety.
  5. Dave Steven was awarded the winter sand contract for 2200 yards at $4.40 a yard. The winter sand will be put up in November. 225 tons of salt will be ordered for the winter roads.
  6. Selectmen voted to accept the MMA General Assistance–Appendices A-F for the period of October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019.
  7. Chris reported that Dan has graded the Klir Beck Road and Mountain Road and has replaced culverts on the Trask Road and the Kimball pond Road.

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Agreed for next meeting’s agenda: the selectmen will vote to adopt the MMA model ordinance for general assistance–Appendices A-F for the period of October 1st, 2018 through 9-30-2019. By law this must be posted for 7 days.
  4. The selectmen went through boxes of old paperwork, deciding what can be disposed of and what must be kept (time periods vary according to the documents). If confidential papers can be eliminated they must be shredded.
  5.  The town received the final sign off from FEMA. The reimbursement amount will be $4,857.62.
  6.  Meeting adjourned.

  1.  Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2.  The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3.  Dan Goucher, road commissioner reported that the paving process on Kimball Pond Road and Trask Road continues and the base coats are scheduled for the week of September 24th, weather permitting. Dan is also working on culverts and other roads–patched holes and repaired washouts on the Stream Road; ditched the upper part of the Kimball Pond Road: and graded the Anderson Road and Cross Road. The Klir Beck road will be graded this week - waiting for rain to help it set.
  4.  Reviewed and signed Warrant # 17 ($88,410.96).

  1.  Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2.  The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3.  Mike Rogers, from Maine State Revenue conducted the sales ratio analysis of recent sold properties. So far, the town has been able to stay at 100% since the 2008 town wide revaluation.
  4.  Reviewed and signed Warrant # 16 ($22,835.04).
  5.  Selectmen had an executive session to discuss a property issue with a town resident.
  6.  The selectmen received a new tree growth application from a town resident
  7.  The selectmen reviewed the bank reconciliation report.

  2.  Read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3.  The Selectmen signed the letter to Stephen Hopkins, town auditor, to give permission for him to do the 2017 audit.
  4.  Signed a letter for Alan Trask stating that the 2018 taxes were paid on the Post Office property.
