- Reviewed and dispersed mail.
- Read and accepted minutes from the previous meeting.
- Extensive “housecleaning” work session going through files, and records stored in boxes. Pulled out a lot of the ones we no longer have to keep. We go by the State regulations for municipal records. Some files must be kept for one, two, or six years; some for thirty years, and many records, of course, must be kept permanently. As far as dispersing goes, some records can merely be thrown away (recycled) and those of a confidential nature must be destroyed.
