  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #17 ($98,191.34).
  4. Salt shed roof: Finished
  5. Winter Sand Bids are due October 11, 2022 at 6:45p.m.
  6. Sovereign citizen: Updated
  7. Cumner Road ditching: The Road Commissioner is looking into this issue
  8. Broadband funding and recent meeting: More discussion after Public hearing on 09/19/2022.
  9. 2023 paving projects: The selectboard will talk with the Road Commissioner.
  10. Trask Road Culvert projects: The selectboard reviewed soft proposals and a list of state departments (IF&W, ACOE & DEP) which will need to be contacted.
  11. Lawn care: The selectboard will need to find/hire a person for the 2023 season.
  12. Heat pump: The selectboard looked for soft bids
  13. Townhouse maintenance: The selectboard will get bids on painting the exterior and interior.
  14. Mike Rogers, from the State of Maine, reviewed 2021 real estate transactions vs. property appraised values.
  15. A New Sharon resident, has a driveway on the Davis Road in Vienna, will pay to have their trash picked up at the end of the driveway.
  16. A resident asked about the property foreclosure process.

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. A resident shared he is being taxed for the incorrect amount of acreage. The selectmen looked into this and he has been charged for the correct amount.
  4. The selectmen talked with Marc Oulette from Axiom about the installation and running of the broadband project. The project is estimated at $2.373 million with an anticipated 70% Grant. The town will take out a bond for the balance.
