  1. Reviewed and signed warrant #9.
  2. Signed the Warrant and Notice of Election for the Budget Validation Referendum for the Mt. Blue Regional School District to be held from 4 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 18th.
  3. Members from the 30 Mile River Watershed Committee(Dan Onion, Lidie Robbins, Marty Arnold and Adrian Polky, Lake Warden) came in to talk about possibly improving the Parker Pond boat landing and surrounding area. Clyde Walton, a retired D.O.T. engineer that lives in Fayette has been looking into ways to improve the boat landing. The Selectmen are in agreement that something needs to be done to the landing, but the town would not be able to put any funds toward the project in 2010. Selectmen told the committee that if they could find the funding, we would be open to them improving the boat landing. There was agreement that the 30 Mile group would return for more discussion with the selectmen before proceeding with any work.
