- Reviewed and signed Warrant #25 (2009) and #1 (2010). The TAN is paid.
- Wayne Whittier came in to talk to us about the roads in Vienna . He did some research back to 1997 comparing dollars spent on road maintenance and paving vs. total town budget. The discussion continued about how long a paved road should last. We also discussed how many miles of road the town can afford to maintain. Wayne will be prepared to present his findings at an informational meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 26 th at 7 p.m. at the Community Room. Selectmen will mail a notice of the meeting to residents.
- Opened and distributed mail.
- Betsy Bransky has notified selectmen that she will be leaving her position as the town's health officer when her 3 year term ends this spring. If anyone is interested in filling this position, please contact a selectmen.
- Work on the Town Report has begun.
- We received a letter from the County Commissioners . The County is changing its fiscal year to run July 1- June 30. They are working on an 18-month budget. Towns will be given the option of paying the first six months over five years. We voted to accept this option. This decision will be sent in writing to CC Robert Devlin.
