Selectmen's meeting - July 25, 2023

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. The Selectmen reviewed and discussed an email from a resident with concerns about the broadband progress. The Selectmen plan to have an informational meeting towards the end of August 2023.
  4. Laura worked on getting property cards ready for the reappraisal.
  5. Meeting adjourned.

Selectmen's meeting - July 11, 2023

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #13 ($86,561.52).
  4. The Broadband Committee and selectmen discussed the Maine Connectivity Contract.
  5. Selectmen contacted the Code Enforcement Officer to look into a shore line issue.
  6. The selectmen discussed and agreed to have an ADA porta potty put at the Town House.

Selectmen's meeting - June 6, 2023

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the
    minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant#11 $107, 433.79).
  4. The selectboard worked on The Winter Road Contract.
  5. The selectboard signed The Public Safety Contract.
  6. The town and Harald Bredesen, Make Maine Works (Maine Community Resilience Partnership), applied for funding on projects that are climate related. Funding can be up to $50,000.00 per project. Examples: heating/cooling huts, resilience plan. The town can apply once a year and the project needs to be finished within 2 years.
  7. The 2023 Mill Rate is set at .0205.
  8. Dan Goucher discussed the progress on road repairs and FEMA funding.

Selectmen's meeting - May 23, 2023

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail. 
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting. 
  3. The Selectmen worked on property cards. 
  4. The Selectmen reviewed the progress of the broadband project. We are still waiting on the Government to finalize the contract. 
  5. The town will be meeting with FEMA on May 31 in hopes to get full reimbursement for the May storm damage.
