Selectmen's meeting - December 15, 2020

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #24 ($32,124.04).
  4. Dan presented updates on the current road work. Vienna had a wash out on the Davis Road. This project needed two culverts, ditching and digging up the road. The water is now diverted and should take care of any further issues.
  5. The selectmen looked into when a septic was installed for a property in town.
  6. The selectmen looked into the laws for burial in the town of Vienna.
  7. The selectmen will look into why a discontinued county road has been blocked.
  8. Meeting adjourned.

Selectmen's Meeting - September 22, 2020

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Stan discussed the need for maintenance in reference to the recent tree growth within the Franklin County Cemetery. The Cemetery Association is requesting additional funding from the town. The selectmen agreed to place it in the yearly warrant for the town meeting.
  4. The selectman signed property abatements and supplementals.
  5. The town purchased the salt shed and land on Route 41 from the State of Maine for $12,500.00.
  6. Meeting adjourned.

Selectmen's Meeting - September 15, 2020

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #18 ($9, 947.34).
  4. Tom updated the selectboard on current broadband discussions. The committee is hoping to receive more offers soon.
  5. Alan discussed building issues and roads in the town with the selectboard.
  6. Troy requested a letter from the town stating he needs to be bonded yearly for the snow plow contract.
  7. Meeting adjourned.
