The discussion went into the abandonment of roads on the Kennebec Highland property. The roads were closed around 1992 to town maintenance but were left open to public access. It was noted that some of the road has been blocked and the selectmen requested that the road be re-opened. The selectmen will be having more meetings with the state before the management plan is updated. The Kennebec Highlands are looking to purchase more property within Vienna.
